Our Relational Leadership Programme brings together headteachers and senior leaders from
both current and future Trust schools each month to focus on building trust, strengthening collaboration and developing open, relational leadership practices that can be embedded within each school community and set our common Trust culture.
The sessions create space for honest conversation, shared experience and meaningful professional connection and aim to boost leaders with a stronger sense of collective purpose and practical tools to take back to their teams.
This investment in leadership development reflects our belief that strong relationships are the foundation of strong Catholic schools. It is also an incredibly helpful thing to do with the sector-wide focus on belonging and mattering as a key to raising standards and getting the best out of all our young people and staff.
At LWCET, we believe that investing in our people is one of the most powerful ways to improve outcomes for every child.
Our Professional Network programme reflects that commitment, with over 23 professional networks bringing colleagues together across every phase and discipline to collaborate, share expertise and learn from one another. From Phonics & Early Reading, RE & Chaplaincy, foundation subjects to SEND, Attendance, Maths, Writing, Science, leadership, Governance and all things Business Operations, our networks provide high-quality, ongoing professional development for colleagues across the Trust.
These networks are far more than meetings. They are communities of practice where ideas are shared, challenges are tackled collaboratively, and excellent practice is strengthened across our family of schools. By creating regular opportunities for colleagues to connect, we continue to build leadership capacity, develop expertise and ensure that no school works in isolation.
We are incredibly proud of the breadth and quality of professional learning available across our Trust, and grateful to the colleagues who lead these networks with such passion, generosity and expertise.
Together, we are creating a culture where continuous professional development is valued, collaboration is expected, and everyone has the opportunity to grow, for the benefit of every member of our community.
