    Our Catholic ethos and values

Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, we aim to respond to the needs of our communities, focusing on promoting human dignity and the common good, as well as caring for the environment, working for peace, and supporting the vulnerable.

Our Catholic Foundation & Ethos Our Catholic Foundation Inspired by the life and witness of St. Therese of Lisieux and the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, our vision and priorities are grounded in our Catholic identity, and are fundamental to our approach to social justice, ethical living and collaborative working. In all that we do, we strive to promote and develop our distinctly Catholic character and ethos. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, we therefore aim to respond to the needs of our communities, focusing on promoting human dignity and the common good, as well as caring for the environment, working for peace, and supporting the vulnerable. We work in partnership with our families, the Church and the whole community to ensure our communities ‘flourish together’. We believe that everyone has the right to fulfil their God-given potential.

LWCET Chaplaincy Teams meeting with the Bishop

At the Little Way Catholic Educational Trust, our chaplaincy teams play a vital role in nurturing the spiritual life of our school communities. Across our six primary schools, these dedicated teams work tirelessly to inspire faith, compassion, and a sense of purpose in our pupils, staff, and families. Recently, our chaplaincy teams had the honor of meeting with Bishop Bosco, an occasion that celebrated their ongoing efforts to deepen the Catholic ethos within our trust. This special gathering provided an opportunity to share insights, receive blessings, and reaffirm our shared mission of living out Gospel values in education.
